The major development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has made transformative impacts in many scientific areas and human communities. The rising interest in AI in education will undoubtedly change the pedagogical approach in teaching statistics. In this round table discussion, we focus on identifying opportunities and challenges faced in both teaching and learning statistics in AI's evolution. The objective is to gather educators of statistics to discuss potential guidelines and guardrails for adequately training the next statisticians.
