Katherine had a gift for distilling her wit, wisdom, and insight into aphorisms and catch phrases. These sayings of hers were part of her charm, and they accumulated nuance the more time you spent with her. This presentation covers several of Katherine's domestic statistical policy accomplishments through the lens of some of her favorite phrases.
Katherine had a full life and extensive career, throughout which she actively supported and advocated for improvements in and reform of statistics education. In this talk, we will briefly discuss her efforts in statistics education and will provide a brief timeline of her life.
