Mental Health Statistics Section P.M. Roundtable Discussion (Added Fee)

Statistician's role is essential for grant activities. Ultimately, we are expected to help secure large-scale extramural grant funds. This includes spending much of our time developing many grant proposals with only a small portion of it being funded in the end. We also secure and serve on small-scale grants to generate preliminary data for the purpose of getting large-scale grants. For any study, our role is to advise on the study design, power and statistical plan, to monitor data collection, to perform the statistical analysis and to coauthor peer-reviewed journal articles.
