Graduate student statistical consulting offers unique and rewarding experiences for those seeking careers beyond academic tenure-track, teaching, and research positions; blending technical skills with real-world problem-solving. As a former student consultant now working in an academic consulting center, I aim to discuss the benefits of student consulting experiences during graduate school and provide insights on navigating the transition from student consulting to professional roles. Topics include balancing consulting with graduate studies, building strong collaborations, and exploring career opportunities. This roundtable provides a space to network, share experiences, and develop strategies for a successful consulting career.
